How to get here?

Railway

Himachal Pradesh is yet to develop a large number of rail tracks and so offers only a limited railway network that is limited to only a few places in the state.

Take a bus!

Take the bus for adventure and to save money! There are several operators and options. Some are air-conditioned semi-sleeper Volvo buses; some are non-air-conditioned local buses. Remember, the HRTC government buses are always cheaper.

Recommended Route

Recommended Driving Route From Chandigarh;

Since we get so many people driving in from Chandigarh, we think it's important to suggest what we think is a better route and also very picturesque

Airway

We have adorably tiny airports in Himachal Pradesh. We have three domestic airports, located in Kullu, Dharamshala, and Shimla. At present, it connects us only with Delhi and Chandigarh, from where you can take connecting flights. It's important to note that flights may get cancelled at any time due to "bad weather," so it is rather undependable.

So, this is what we recommend:
Fly into Delhi/Chandigarh, and we will send a cab to pick you up from there.

Roadway

The advantage of Himachal Pradesh's location in the hills is that you can plan a comfortable road trip. The distance from Delhi to Himachal Pradesh by road can be covered in just about 10 hours, or at most 10 and a half hours.

Self-drive: If you are comfortable driving on Indian roads (we drive on the left of the road), then a self-drive car is a great option from Delhi or Chandigarh.
